 I chose the Parrot for my symbol because I thought it would be relate-able to an animal voice adapter.

 Parrots are the only animals that can mimic or 'speak' in words.

 The color scheme is all colors a parrot can have in its feathers. 

The head is red, the circle blue, and letters orange fill with a yellow stroke.

National Basketball Association- simple figure with a man dribbling a ball that i think is easily recognizable and has a good color scheme.

Honda- is super basic but also easily distinguished from other symbols.

Android- Cellphone software that symbolizes a robot or an android. I like this logo personally because of the simple robot they used.

United Postal Service- symbol known around the country for package deliveries. The symbol shows the color brown which is the color of the trucks that deliver their packages, and the acronym UPS bold on the front.

The popular comic book series of Batman symbol. The symbol of a bat was flashed in the night sky to alert the Batman their was trouble. I think the symbol is smart and unique. I havent seen any other like it.

Digital Arts Intro

My name is Eric Moraes and I attend the University of Tampa as a Graphic Design major. I'm currently a sophomore and play basketball for the school. I entered this class Beginning Digital Arts because it is required for ma major and I would like to possibly pursue this career in the future. This is my first class that introduces me to the the field I am interested in so i hope to gain a better understanding of the tools. I have some experience with photoshop but i hope to learn more. So far it looks like I am going to enjoy the class and i look forward to learning.
